A native, keyboard-first browser for developers, built on the Chromium Embedded Framework with a Rust core. Beside every page sits a developer toolkit — network, console, storage and accessibility panels, a device simulator, a screen studio — and an agent that can read and operate the tab.

Yes. Dive is MIT-licensed and developed in public on GitHub. It redistributes the Chromium Embedded Framework under its BSD-3-Clause license.

macOS 13 or newer on Apple Silicon, or Windows 10 or newer on x64. Dive checks for updates and installs them in the background.

Bring your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek or xAI — or run fully local with Ollama or LM Studio so nothing leaves your machine.

Dive serves the Model Context Protocol on 127.0.0.1:7391 behind a bearer token. Claude Code, Cursor and other clients can open tabs, read pages, click, type, take screenshots and tail the console and network.

Browsing data stays on your device. Ads, trackers and fingerprinting scripts are blocked in the engine's request pipeline, workspaces keep projects apart, and private windows run in their own process. Dive sends no analytics or telemetry.
